Message: Vincent is my kind of chef. He is constantly exploring new combinations and fusions of food.
Dining at the Sundial is a truly sensual, ambient, delightfull experience. The beamed dining room,the linen covered tables, down to the unusual plates are an aesthetic support for the food which is one of the stars of the show. The other star is the service headed up by Vincent's wife Mary, is atttentive yet unobtrusive, subtly friendly and very generous.
The amuse-gueule tasters that appear before and throughout the meal are a delight. The surprise delight may be a taster of crayfish mousse or an out of this world creamy gazpacho or a champagne sorbet.
Vincent is too creative a chef for anyone to ever be bored with a menu at the sundial. Even the most demanding gourmet will not be disappointed here.
If you are in the East Sussex area, you don't want to miss this experience
